I’m Tabatha — an Independent Operations & Program Management Consultant and the founder of Magnolia Mountain. I help growing businesses, organizations, and mission-driven teams turn complex operations into clear systems, actionable plans, and work that actually gets done.

For nearly 30 years, I’ve worked behind the scenes of organizations where there are a lot of moving pieces — people, projects, deadlines, budgets, systems, data, clients, and competing priorities.

My experience spans grant-funded pediatric mental health and emergency preparedness programs, state government and disaster response, commercial real estate, construction, property management, technology, e-commerce, and professional services.

I’ve supported everyone from founders and small business owners to psychologists, trainers, emergency-response professionals, commercial real estate teams, and multidisciplinary project teams. The industries may be different, but the operational challenge is often remarkably similar:

Important work is happening, the organization is growing or changing, and someone needs to bring all the pieces together.

What I Do

I specialize in operations leadership, program and project management, financial operations, and process improvement.

Depending on the engagement, that might mean:

• Stepping in as a fractional operations partner when a founder or team needs experienced hands-on leadership

I’m comfortable moving between the strategic and the practical. I can help identify what needs to change, build the system to support it, and stay involved to make sure it actually gets implemented.

Experience Built in Complex Environments

My career has included project execution and operations across publicly traded corporations, privately held businesses, startups, government emergency-management environments, and grant-funded programs.

I’ve coordinated multi-stakeholder behavioral-health initiatives, supported national and international training programs, led projects in Colorado’s emergency-management environment, managed high-volume commercial real estate workflows, supervised teams, supported multimillion-square-foot portfolios, and helped small businesses improve the financial and operational systems behind their growth.

That breadth has made me particularly good at walking into complicated situations, understanding how all the pieces connect, and creating structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.

A Little About Me

I hold two master’s degrees from the University of Denver in Real Estate & Construction Management and Geographic Information Systems, as well as a bachelor’s degree in English and German from Stony Brook University.

I’m also a lifelong learner and enthusiastic problem-solver. When I’m not untangling an operational puzzle, you’re likely to find me traveling somewhere new, spending time with horses, or continuing my education in equine-assisted coaching.

I believe businesses can be well-run without becoming rigid, and that good systems should make work feel simpler — not heavier.
